    I'm Kaat, a mom of two kids (3 year-old daughter Rosalie, and baby boy Lucas), working from home as a fine art and stock photographer. I've been active since 2004, taking it on as a passionate hobby, and started my own registered photography business in 2012.
    For a long time I worked primarily on self-portraiture and client photography (portrait, events and boudoir), but have shifted my focus to fine art and stock photography for the past and next couple of years, ever since becoming a mom in 2016.
    Stock photography, and working on my own projects, allows me to work as flexibly as possible and 100% for myself, so that I can take care of my two kids and experience everything to the fullest.

    Gezien ons huidige nieuwe normaal, in de anderhalvemetersamenleving, ben ik als thuiswerkende zelfstandige met twee kleine kindjes momenteel niet in de gelegenheid om werkzaamheden buitenshuis, of als boudoirfotograaf, voort te zetten. Afwachten dus.

I have created - with Wil's carpentry assistance - a small studio space and I've been wanting to start working with it over our summer break, but it was just too hot.
